First of all you need to ask yourself this question who is your targetted audience? At this point i am hoping it is not Search Engine because if it is then you need to rethink again. If after rethinking it is still search engine you can pay me as i am taking a psychology class and i can help you, and probably convince you into switching if you have serious goals in making money online.

Let me remind you bloggers, or any website owners, Search Engine Bots will not click your ads, and they will not join the webhosting companies or buy other products through your affiliate ads. While they should be in the list of your things to pay attention to, but they definately should not be on the top. The top of your list and your upmost priority should be your targetted audience, real people, such as mine are you guys. Webmasters and starters who have a vision for success online. If i start optimizing this site for search engines, and only post keywords and just try to fill up my posts with hyperlinks to all my other websites then i will loose all the users who come to my website, and my subscribers as well because my content won’t be useful if i add all the irrelevant links.

Second not only i will loose traffic, I will see some really good SERPs results. Wait a minute that is not suppose to be a good thing you know why? Because you will be penaltised on the next update. Yeah are you making funny faces at me? It is true. The moment you start optimizing your site for search engine and make them your targetted audience they will start paying to much attention to you, and TOO Much attention is dangerous because every single activity of yours will be monitored and you will be penaltised for your mistakes. (Abusing Keywords), Useless adverts, Paid Links, and many other reasons the SEs can find for you.

Many Webmasters are a part of big webmaster communities such as Digitalpoint and others. In these forums you will see many service providers offering their services. One of the most common ones are 1000 manual directory submissions. In that deal, the service provider guarantees a report in the end, and quality work done. Here are my stands on this. A person cannot submit to 1000 directories manually and provide a report in the end because just imagine how much time it will take for the user to actually show that he used your website and the anchor because some people go as far upto showing Submission Failed, Submission Successful. You guys need to be smarter than that because it is obvious they are using some automated software to submit your website. Not only that, i have gotten complaints in the past and have first hand experience in these services that some of these submitters will submit your website to a web directory without paying the review fee. Which will result in the editor of the directory to delete your link and get a negative image of your website. Whereas the service provider got his money and is having a drink somewhere with his friends. Now you paid for a service and gained some people who dislike your website. Not a very benficial deal for you. My advice is to avoid all Directory Submission Service that are offered on these forums. Especially the ones that charge $25 for 6000 directory submission because you should know that you will get what you are paying for and paying $25 for 6000 directory submissions is not a normal price.

First thing you need to do is get rid of those archives pages. Yes i know it comes in with the default template, but it can be turned off, and i seriously recommend it to be turned off because half of your real users won’t even bother using the archives if you have a prominent search button on your website. Why should they digg through your archives when they can just type a keyword and get the results through the serach feature. It has no benefit what so ever as for SEO Perspective, but it does have some disadvantages and one thing is that it will create additional pages with duplicate content. Your indexed page count might increase in google and other search engines, but when those additional pages are duplicate content, then it becomes a bit conflicting.

Next you can eliminate the factor of duplicate content by displaying posts in more then one category. While it is ok to do it sometimes if it is absolutely necessary, but try to find the most accurate category for the post. For example i could’ve put this post in both SEO and For Starters as this is something that starters can use, but so can the current bloggers and it is seo related so i decided that it should belong in SEO Category not both, but like my Expansion Template Post which was both for phpLD and Wordpress therefore i couldn’t just post it in WP Themes section, but if i just post it in the Freebies then my wp themes collection would be separated therefore i had no choice but to put it in the categories. Those are some choice that as a blogger you would have to make.

These converters come in handy because you might be away from a house and if you are a student in college and couldnot open your presentation or some file due to technical difficulties use these handy converters to help yourself out in hard times.

Here i have collected a list of some very useful online converters which i hope you will all like and appreciate. Some of them are webmaster related while others are just general use.

Image Converters

As a web designer i use them alot, and i recommend one of these to alot of my clients. I will start this list of with the converter for favicon as i have been getting a few queries about that.

A few days back i bought this database which was horribly coded, and it was in excel format. Not just that it had ridiculous characters in there. It was a pain to convert that excel file to mysql. Well now that i have that figured out and the script is running and will be out soon in my new project Here are some Excel Converters

  • CSV to HTML – Converts CSV to HTML in seconds.

I know there have been alot of problems with editing pdf forms. Atleast my teachers have these issues alot. So i told her to buy Adobe Writer if she needs it that bad. She said that is too expensive. I found this converter that converts PDF to MS Word, but below there are few more.

• • Multiextension-PDF – The best one i found so far for pdf. This One lets you convert the pdf file to numerous extensions from MS Documents to Plain text and images, and the files are sent securely to your email.
  • HTML to PDF – Converts html into pdf which comes in handy often.

Even though the great feedburner does this for all i thought i should just give two more option for those who don’t want to use feedburner to convert rss feeds to javascript.

• • RSS to Javascript – Converts RSS Feeds to Javascripts.
  • RSS to Image – Converts the rss feeds into an image.

Now i will post some random converters that are html related, i didnt know what to categorize them under.

• • Html to CSS – This one converts html to css and vice versa.
  • Html to … – converts html to java, php, perl

Akismet Spam Stopper – created by the developers of Wordpress, this usually comes installed in the default copy of wordpress and requires the API key which can be obtained for free from Wordpress.
