For the past few days, I have been trying out a system called BlogProfitz as they asked me to do a review for them. I have finally finished evaluating the system and in this post I will share my review of this product.

What is BlogProfitz?

BlogProfitz is a system that brings Blogging and Affiliate Marketing together in a Wordpress blog. From the demo, it looks like a store that is running on Wordpress.

How does BlogProfitz Work?

After setting up a Wordpress Blog, you start the BlogProfitz engine. BlogProfitz system injects your blogs with ten, hundreds or even thousands of affiliate products (complete with images, descriptions and affiliate links), all targeted to your blogs’ subject matter and niche. Products are organized in a ‘store’ format so your readers can then browse, read about and purchase the products they want, directly through your site. These products are being extracted from affiliate networks like CJ, Amazon, Ebay and more. With the combination of 10 Networks, BlogProfitz provide you with 24,000,000 products at your disposal.

Basically what it is doing is making your job easier for finding content. Now you can have 10 and even 100 blog if you choose to do so filled with affiliate products that are allowing you to make money. The system is providing automated content like ebay, and amazon stores does, and all you have to do is promote your site and get targetted audience to your website. To help attract the audience, BlogProfitz has incorporated Youtube Video feature in the site which lets you add videos to your articles. Along with the youtube feature, they also has a database of 15,000 articles which you can use on your website. Don’t stop here, BlogProfitz lets you add any RSS feeds to your blog which will automate the content to your affiliate site.

It comes with multiple different themes and more to come. It is very easy to setup the website claims 5 minutes. Since it is all done online, there is no need to install anything on your server which saves you the resources.

Pros of BlogProfitz

• It brings together all affiliate network products together maximizing the possibilities for you.
• It automates the process of adding the affiliate product to your websites.
• It eases the process of adding content to your blog easily by automating the process.
• It is web based and does not require you to install anything on your site.

Cons

• Where there is automation, there is duplication. You will have duplicate content on your website at all times whether you use 15,000 of their articles, or you parse the RSS Feed of another website.
• Since it is an online service, it is not a one time fee product. Rather you would have to pay monthly.

Basically after evaluating this, what you have is a Huge Store Script put together with Wordpress which they call BlogProfitz. Now duplicate content worries those who are in the business for SEO and Long Term. Store sites are not long term business for the most part because they provide no useful content except for having a collection of related products. You will not naturally get visitors to these sites, and you will have to run PPC Campaigns. So duplicate content should not be your worry at this time.

What you should be worried about though is duplicating content from the RSS Feeds of other bloggers because you might piss off some of these guys and burn your bridges for the future.

Other than that it is a great product if you are just thinking of using it as a store and getting quick bucks in your pocket. Yes I said quick bucks! The system seems promising, but it will only work if you know what you are doing meaning if you know how to run PPC campaigns.

It is doing half the job for you which is getting you the content, so you can spend all your energy on marketing the site and maximizing your earnings.

Alright guys. I had this domain for a while now which I was using as a proxy site. Recently with a partner, I have decided to convert it into a URL Shortening Service, or a URL Redirection Service which we called Ekey – Your Key to Shorter URL. I thought of this idea after I got active on twitter that I should come up with my own service.

Ekey is a competitor site of tinyurl.com and many others which allows you to make your long URLs into a shorter url. We have added a Decompress feature on the site that allows you to put in a random ekey.us URL and find out the real URL. So far aside from the redirection service, this is the other feature that is in the website.

We are working on the feature of tracking URLs, so it shows you how many hits your URL has received.

Why eKey instead of Others

One thing is that eKey is well designed and much more cleaner and easier to use than others. Second is that eKey does not put the annoying toolbars on the new opened links. If you were going to use tinyurl.com eKey is way shorter. First our domain is shorter and we only add 5 random characters after the ekey.us domain. So your links will be very small. Lastly because you want to support me and make eKey popular.

I don’t think I need to ramble about eKey anymore, try it use it and love it. I would like to hear what you guys think.

Alright a user of mine contacted me. Well I do not know if this person is a user of mine, but since she came to my website, she is a user. Well this was a different type of offer. Most of the times people email me asking me to link to them. This time it was more like hey can I link to you.

Well first I thought it was spam, but I decided to check it out. I saw the website and basically what was going on is Corey is reviewing your design in a video. I said sure go ahead. Balkhis Review on Blog by Design

Wordpress 2.7 was out, and Balkhis wasn’t upgraded. And the reason for that was because my WP-Affiliate Plugin will not work. So I had an option of losing a great chunk of my income from Balkhis, or upgrade. You can check out the reasons why I downgraded from WP 2.7.

I was in a search for a perfect plugin, that would replace WP-Affiliate without me changing a whole lot to the posts. It was a tough process because I wanted to use the features of 2.7 and I couldn’t. I am making quiet a lot of money from Balkhis Affiliate Links, and I didn’t want to lose that all. I tried out a lot of plugins in the meantime that would help me, but none of them worked. Few days back, I saw MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate Ad, and I clicked on it. Next thing I know, I ended up buying a $97 Wordpress Plugin.

You might be wondering what type of idiot buys a wordpress plugin that is worth $97. Well let me tell you why I ended up buying this wordpress plugin. So this plugin enriches you with insane amount of control. I have tested quite a few free ones, almost none worked with WP 2.7. But neither one of those offered you this much link control. As you can see in the picture above, I am making an auto link for the plugin I support, OIO Publisher <- This keyword should convert into a link. I have set the global control that each link should open in a new window, but you can see that I can change it in each post. I didn't change it for OIO though. This is one of the controls that MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate gives you. If you think this is all well you haven’t seen anything yet.

Above is the screen shot that shows you an option page that lets me control, how many keywords do I want to be linked on each page. So I say 3 per keyword, and 5 total links per page. But you can change it to just about whatever you like. This is the control MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate gives you over your blog. Now I don’t want to be one of the guys talking all good stuff about this plugin, but I haven’t seen anything that tells me that this plugin is not a worthy investment. I mentioned above that Balkhis affiliate commission went up and that is because of this keyword option. There were posts that I never linked the keyword to any affiliate link. Now it just automatically links them, so I am getting more money at least the past couple days. So I will let you know when I recover all the money from this plugin.

This plugin saves me a lot of time in more ways that other plugins do. Well I get to make a link and it links all the keywords automatically, so that saves me time from linking keywords that I want. But not only that, it have a tab in the write post section.

You can see that I can just click on any keyword and it will automatically link it there. I won’t even need to type the url anymore. That itself saves me a lot of time. This is just a super feature in this plugin. I absolutely love it. So this will save me time whenever I write a post until this blog exist. So this investment is a long-term investment.

Another cool feature this plugin has is change status bar text, but sadly I have noticed it is not working in my FF browser and I am using Firefox 3. So that is something that needs to be fixed, but knowing the author’s credibility it will be fixed soon. Yes this is Pawan Agrawal, the same guy who have strip ads and bunch of other wordpress plugins.

I know that when I was in the trouble of not being to upgrade a lot of others emailed me as well asking me what I am going to use because they were having the same problem. Well this is the solution for all of you guys.

Some settings I would recommend,

Make all affiliate links no-follow. Pretty easy just change the global setting. Make them open in a New Window. Do not change the style for the link because it makes your site looks hideous. Cloak your links to avoid someone from stealing your profit. And change the status bar text. Use keywords!!! Hope you guys will like it. Let me know if anyone of you guys buy it.
