Alright everyone, Lets get on upgrading your old wordpress blogs to this new superb one. Yes as I mentioned couple days back, that I was beta-testing Wordpress 2.5 which I am very proud of myself as I reported a few bugs , but now with the work of the Wordpress Team and support of the Beta Testers, the stable version of Wordpress 2.5 is out now.

Most importantly in this version, Wordpress has changed their backend entirely. The admin panel looks completely different. There are some very useful plugins. One click upgrade for all plugins if you allow (Did I say that I love this… Well I do). Along with the backend look, as you can see that Wordpress got a new design for their website which matches the admin backend. There has been alot of upgrades and It makes no sense for me to repost it when they are already here on the wordpress site.

Well as we know that Wordpress is the best blogging software on the World Wide Web (Hands Down). They are making a big update with the software pretty soon. Right now the current stable version of the software is 2.3.3, and the new version will be 2.5. Yes that is a big jump in the wordpress count because the last one before 2.3.3 was 2.3.2 and 2.3.1 so we can agree that there will be alot of updates. The beta version is out already and I am using it on Balkhis.

Well you don’t have to just wonder what it is going to be like because the people at wordpress has posted the Sneak Peak of 2.5. The new wordpress will have:

- New backend design.
- Faster load times.
- Multi-file uploads.
- New “Media Manager” for images, audio, video, etc.
- Built-in gallery function.
- Built-in (and pluggable) Gravatars support.
- One-click auto-update for plugins.

And much more…….

My favorite part about this new update is definately the one click auto-update for plugins. This will make my life so much easier rather than downloading / reuploading each plugin when the update comes out. Ofcourse aside from this the design is much better looking.

Samsung is releasing two Android Based phones in the year of 2008. One is due by Sepetember and the other one will be due by Christmas. The interesting thing is that these phones will not have Samsung Logos instead they will have Google Logos as they will be going under the category of GPhone. These phones have a similar look to Blackberry Pearl. One is going to be affordable that will be released after the holidays. Claimed to be $100 wheras the one released on September will be the upper touch phone.

The coolest part is that this phone have a QWERTY Keyboard so good for texting. What i still don’t know is whether this releas will be for all service providers or will this be another iPhone type one service provider exclusive contract.

Raelyn Campbell purchases a laptop at a local Best Buy store in 2006. She was convinced by the salesman to purchase a 3 year extended warranty on her laptop. In result she ended up paying more than $1100 for her laptop. She was thinking that she got a fortunate deal as now she have warranty on her product. What she didn’t know was that this could be the fortune cookie she is about to eat.

To make up for their mistakes, they tried to offer her $900 in gift card as a courtesy, but she countered it and demanded $2100. Best Buy ignored her terms and moved on, but Campbell was not ready to move on. She found out that her personal data in the laptop maybe in danger and she is in risk of identity theft. She went ahead and talked to her lawyers and filed a $54 Million Law Suit Case against Best Buy. HOLY Crap !!

Now you might be thinking had Best Buy gave her that $2100 she would’ve left them alone. Well Best Buy is now trying to negotiate the deal with $4100 if she drops the case. Now who in the world would drop the case of $54 Million for $4100. Are you crazy. These people deserve this. When the knife is pointed toward them, they are ready to make the deal, but before when the situation was reversed they didn’t care about customer service.

Well Could this be the Best Buy of her life ??
