These were really useful tips, I think. I wish I hadn’t made so many mistakes when creating my first blogs. Anyway, in my opinion, what you really have to pay attention to when it comes to blogs is the right content (possibly the most useful for the readers) and uniqueness (google doesn’t like duplicate content).

The reason that your twitter worked, I think, is the fact that you chose a topic that would work, wrote well on it and people spread the word around.
