10 feeds is pretty good! I am one of them I think I have 0 or maybe 1 feed. (which is my mom) lol

I’ve got a issue/question that you might be able to answer for me.

Whenever we make a post on my site, it takes and uses the excerpt from the post, but when it takes the except, it removes all formatting, pics, etc. so that when our feed is burned to an e-mail or an RSS, such as Google Reader, it is just one block of text.

This, in turn, limits what I can put as the excerpt because I don’t want the RSS feed to be this gigantic, single text block.

Any ideas why this is occurring or how I can fix it?

I was just experimenting whether it increases the count … But it wasn’t looking good there, so I removed it … I might put it back again when it increase even more

Hello Syed,

I noticed that you displayed your RSS feed count on your blog but now it’s removed. Is there a reason you removed your feed count from here? Does it help increase subscribers or what?

I read a lot of RSS feeds each day and have a dozen or so feeds I read for each niche I have. I use Bloglines, it works great for me.

I do notice that if I don’t keep on top of those feeds they can get right out of hand rather quickly.

This is a great post. Some people don’t understand RSS and I didn’t either until I got started. Its something that can really help your blog grow and helps you track the growth too. I have a Google Reader account but mostly I visit the sites based on memory when Im too lazy to open Google Reader.
