yes, i am a user of bing. it is very nice and useful. especially the background ,it will change everyday… the map search is even better!!!

It got me laughing when you said premature television death. It’s cool. Well, I’ve never tried Bing since it launched. I continue using my same old Google. For me, actually the white screen that Google features is the best. Results count most for me..I’ll try Bing though but am not making any promise!!

Bing looks pretty decent. I am glad they put together a big advertising budget to help push the new search.

I don’t see Bing surpassing Google anytime soon. They both provide the same results, and Google does it in a cleaner, quicker way. While Bing took several seconds to load on my screen, Google opened immediately. The speed of Google alone is worth more than a pretty background–at least to me. To each their own, of course, but I won’t be making the switch in the foreseeable future.

Bing reminds me of all the search engines that popped out around 2000 like snap.com and iwon.

Bing is good; but Google has so much become a part of life today, that everyone is used to it. For bing to come to a similar position will surely take some time. It has some cool SE features, but the overall package that Google provides, is something many can’t do without.

Sure Google has a big lead right now in the Search market, but if you remember back in the day… it was Yahoo that had the dominant lead. And there are some markets in the world where Google is not the #1, so yes Google can be beat.

Very good review. And it’s a great thing to see some decent search engine comes on the board. Surely nothing spectacular, but the fact they are doing some innovations is really positive, and should be supported.

That is the problem. The advantage that Google has with the total package that they offer and which are already on my machine!
