Have you ever been to a site that has a section for “Press” or “As Featured In” where they have logos of top brands? Well now is a chance for you to add a huge logo in your association list on your WordPress Blog or any other site. Right now Fast Company Magazine, one of the most well respected start up magazines out there, is doing a feature on influential people. And they are going to post everyone’s photo in the magazine who registers, which takes less than 2 minutes and it is FREE (the photo size depends on how much influence you have). Today, I learned an important lesson from Staples customer service manager who could have saved the embarrassment by taking one extra step. So I needed to buy a PC to run the accounting software and utilize all modules. Knowing myself, I went for the CHEAPEST yet functional desktop deal I could find. I launched Slickdeals and luckily saw Staples running a Quad-Core AMD desktop deal for $399 (with a 20″ LED monitor). I jumped right on it… I was already at another store, so I decided to stop by the local Staples store. First, they were all busy with customers (there were like 3)… I patiently waited until the store manager offered to assist me. If you want to make money online (by blogging), it is good if you have a niche blog. It is good because you would be recognized by people as an expert on that niche. When people recognize you as an expert, they would be visiting you site and that will help you to be an authority in Google eyes (You can read more about how to get authority status on Google). You don’t necessary have to choose a niche you know about. You can choose a niche that interests you and you want to learn more about it. The main reason why you need a niche site is because it is easier to SEO i.e. to get backlinks to the site. I have seen many different retweet guides on the web, but this is the simplest and by far the most effective technique in my books. The best way to get retweets is by simply asking. Facebook is literally taking over the web, and I have been wanting to do a write up about it. It is insane that Facebook has over 500 million registered users, and it is growing faster than ever. It is crazy that in the past 3 years, it has literally doubled it’s revenue each year going from 350 million dollars to 700 million dollars and now to somewhere around 1.6 billion dollars per year. When will this stop? Will it stop? Should we be worried? The whole idea of this post is to spice things up by sharing what I think will happen. Now I am not an oracle, so my predictions are just as good as yours. With the Facebook like buttons, facebook has been dominating the web.
