Pimp My Blog June 2008 – Nickthrolson pimped version
Like always today is the last day of July, and I am done with Nick’s site. Well I have been done for a while, it is now ready for public exposure. Nick’s email got chosen on the June Drawing and therefore he recieved the new design.
Pimp My Blog is growing big every day. I get more and more inquiries about this topic. Also the email subscriber has gone to a higher level. I am trying to do more of web 2.0 faster loading blog templates.

I will be doing the drawing for July winner in a few days. This time I will not reveal the date because some people are cheating the system by subscribing in the drawing days and than unsubscribing. But it will be done in the first week of August 2008.

Hey, I am Syed Balkhi, The guy who is behind Balkhis Inc. I entered the industry back in 2002 not knowing a single thing. I barely spoke English at that time. In the past six years, my language barrier has been eliminated. Aside from English, now I also speak html, and php. Along with the languages I have also managed to master a few arts. Great design there. I’d really like to see a new blogger get some help from you in this area. It would make for a really interesting Pimp My Blog edition.

No when I launched this program it was only for my feedburner subscriber. In the future when I add an email newsletter than I will add those as well, but It is hard to track Plurk followers and it will be more of a headache to me. I would be very happy if one of my plurk buddies win this. All they would have to do is simply subscribe to Balkhis via feedburner.
Emm.. Did Nick change the theme coz it looks a bit different from the theme in the video. No CSS navigation. The divider between the content area and the sidebar runs into the footer
And no ‘Pimped by Balkhis’ logo!!
Syed definitely doesn’t make mistakes like those!
And I forgot to mention that the neat logo is missing
for some reason Nick’s theme is displaying the old one.
Just got an update from Nick. He is tweaking the pimped version a bit on his testing server. Therefore the site is here.

Paul, rss subscribers via email are the ones that are included. If you are in those than you are counted. Plus the last month’s top commentators will get extra entries.

Nope since the winner will be for July then the top commentators from July will count.
Next month’s drawing will count August’s Top commentator.
