Crazy Ride Home

Dear Readers, I would like to thank you for reading this post. I highly value your feedback and would like to know more about my readers. Follow me on Twitter

Alright this is the second one about my trip, but I can’t resist to share this, so here it is. Well, I am driving with my roommate to Gainesville from West Palm Beach, and just a little bit after Orlando we got stuck in a crash on Turnpike. Exact mile board 281. This crash was big and lasted almost 2 hours. There was no movement in the car and both lanes were blocked. All cars were dead stopped and it was miles back. The accident I would say was about 1.5 miles in front of my car, so I was very bored, but luckily I had my camera, so I decided I should take pictures.

Just to get the pictures of the actual crash, I ran 1.5 miles up and back to the car, so a total of 3 miles. I got my exercise for the day. This crash was pretty big and you will see it in the pictures. A big SUV was crashed badly. The clothes from the van flew all over. There were two trauma hawks that landed and took off with patients.

Enough with the talking lets view some pictures and the interview.

I had tons of free time there because we were stuck for almost 2 hours, so I made some short videos for time pass.

My Interview

My Roommate’s Interview

Interview with some random guy who i think was drunk and making up stuff because we weren’t there for 10 – 15 minutes as you can see the sun went down and how bright it was when I was taking the other pictures.

Mock Accident

It was very sad to see the crash, luckily I had the camera so I took some pictures. Apparently some people didn’t have a very good Spring break.. :(

Yes you definitely took on the reporter job on this accident. Did you know what had actually happened as in the injuries, etc.

That looks like a very serious accident. I hope that the people involved will be allright.

wow, the accident looks pretty scary. I remember when Hurricane Rita had come around, the traffic was backed up for miles in Houston.

I have been stuck in traffic, but nothing like that. That would just make me crazy.I guess making videos and taking pictures made the time go by alittle.
