Why Do I Blog?

Dear Readers, I would like to thank you for reading this post. I highly value your feedback and would like to know more about my readers. Follow me on Twitter

Blogging is a job, a career, hobby, and many other things. Everyone classifies it in a different category. Darren Rowse of ProBlogger.net asked this question to all bloggers, Why Do You Blog?. He is making a Group Video Project where he is going to collect all the blogger’s answer through each individual video and post it all in one collection. Well Darren, here is the answer to your question.

Blogging is my hobby.
I am a big time computer geek because I love computer and the internet. I have been using it for quiet some time, and have been in the webmaster industry for about 5 years now. In the 5 years, I tried alot of different niches and ended up with only two becoming my favorite. Those are Designing and Blogging.

Sparks new Ideas
While I blog, I research all my topics and visit other blogs and websites. By doing this non-stop research, often it sparks new ideas in my mind. The future projects that I can take on and develop. I already have one that is underconstruction which I was inspired to do so while I was researching and visiting other blogs.

Make a quality webmaster resource
I share alot of my experience on my blog. Along with my experience, I share alot of other stuff such as tutorials, other webmaster resources, freebies etc. While I am trying to help others out by sharing my knowledge, I am making it a bigger resource every day. This resource is not only for my users, but it is for myself. I collect my tutorials from other websites, or from my own development, and my blog helps me keep track of all of those in one place, so I don’t have to go to different places to get things done.

Name and Fame
I like others to know about me. I am blogging for my name. I want the webmaster world to know about Syed Balkhi, like they know about other big bloggers. I am still an underdog in the industry, but this fame will be priceless because for every future project I take on my name will be associated to it, and people would not say Who is Syed Balkhi.

Getting Better every day
I have my blog so I can get critiques and comments by my users. I like it when someone comment on my post. Whether they like my strategy, or if there is a way I can improve. I love those critiques and comment because they help me fix some of the issues with my products or strategies, and the appreciation from the users of my work just motivates me to get better and better every day.

Making new friends
My blog has helped me know alot of different type of people in the web world. I have made some very nice friends through blogging. Getting to learn from the experiences of these friends is just another cool thing about blogging.

My vision is for success, and I don’t want others to make the same mistakes that I have made therefore I show them all the tricks I learned in the past through trial and error.

Some great reasons to blog perhaps the best is it is a way to network and meet people. I wish I had the time to do more of it.

Yes Bruce, you should definately try that because It is great. I get to know more people and learn from their experience. I can’t wait till I start attending these conferences. Already planning on attending Miami Adtech … maybe a few more in the near future.
