Water Resistant Challenge for the World’s Smallest 8GB USB Drive
I wrote a post two days ago about a free gift that I received from Super Talent Technology about the world’s smallest USB Drive. Well I felt like that I was coming up short in my last review when I told my users the basic specs because basically all the specs were on the Super Talent’s site.
I thought It would be nice if I can do something different. Therefore I decided that I will test one of the features that the website claims for the drive. Water Resistant. I love the feature because I am a very careless person, but this time I did this with an intention of an experiment.
I got David Pegg, a member of Balkhis Inc. and Uzzz crew and asked him to make the video. In this video, I basically showed that the drive works before it was put in the water, and then I put in a container of water. Then take it out after sometime, and then I go back and dry it off and test it, and guess what. It actually WORKS !!!
Below is the video of the entire experiment

I don’t think I would try that experiment with a drive I paid for, but why not with a free one..
hehe Bruce I think if the company says Water Resistant and you are doing this experiment and putting it on sites like youtube and for example your experiment failed. I am sure 9/10 times the company will give you a new one for free and work on fixing their error through your experiment.
nice experiment Syed..nice to see it is working.
Wow, this USB Drive is really good.
yeah this USB drive is the vision for future technology. Super Talent just amazed with their supertalent when I tested this drive.
How is the transfer speed and stuff on the drive? I dont know if I’d want something that small because it increases the chances of having me misplace it!
I dropped the USB drive in water too. The drive is awesome, and it’s super sturdy considering how small it is. I made a video of me dropping it in water and plugging it into a USB drive on on my blog. I also wrote a review on it. you can can check it out here

nice review … you should’ve used a more clear container of water but that one works as well
Man i gotta get this usb seeing how im on my 4th one. Can you guys tell where you guys get those from.
Great video there. I couldnt even see the USB drive in your hand, thats how small it is!
These are basically made of silicon. No movable parts so chances of not working are less. But still. Nice product. It is actually very small!
