World’s Smallest USB Drive - as a Gift

Posted on Apr 19, 2008. Written by Syed Balkhi

World's Smallest USB Drive

Today something surprising happened. I was sitting in my room trying to write a blog post on Balkhis, and someone knocked really hard on the apartment’s door. I got up and thought who the heck is this? I ran up to the door, and there was package on the door. The package contained a super technology from Super Talent Technology Corporation.

This USB Drive is in the PICO Series of the Super Talent company. I don’t know why it is PICO series, but I am thinking that picometer is a really small measuring unit. It was the smallest one until femto unit arrived. Now I will be waiting to see smaller USB Drives in FEMTO series :P This USB Drive is PICO_C.

The Dimensions of this magnificent technology is

31.3mm x 12.4mm x 3.4mm

and it weights only 6 grams. And the cool part is that this is water resistable (works for me) I am very careless, so if anything happens I know this will be one of the things that won’t be damaged severely. These drives range from 1GB - 8GB. The one I got in mail is 8GB :)

Below is the video with my frist reaction and the actual usb drive.

I actually tested the water resistance of the drive by dropping it in the container full of water

Well what are you waiting for ?? Get yours now. OO By the way there is a contest going on that I might Enter. Check it Here. Right a Review about any Pico Product and enter a chance to win. This is a review, and I might win something else.

Got to love the excessive packaging :P What I love is its shock resistant too (according to their website), that I think is more important than the water resistance.

Oh and by the way - Wasn’t the contest a review contest? You have to write a review and possibly win… So how are people supposed to write a legit review if they don’t have the actual product?

I like that USB drive. 8gb is not bad but i’m still into external harddrive :D

OO trust me I have two of the external hard drives also. But this 8GB is portable. Take it anywhere. You can’t possibly carry external hard drive in ur pocket.

Not to forget, if external hdd, you also need to bring along the cable :)

And more people will send you free stuff.
