What should you do in regards with SEO?

Dear Readers, I would like to thank you for reading this post. I highly value your feedback and would like to know more about my readers. Follow me on Twitter

My title basically explains the subject of the post. What should you do in regards with SEO of your website. I will answer one of the most common questions asked related to SEO. These questions include, What is the first step you should take with SEO when you are starting a website?, Should you do your SEO by yourself, or hire a professional?, and How much is enough, When should you stop?.

So fellas, What should be the first step you take with SEO when you are starting a website?

Your first SEO step starts with a design. A good design is the basis of the SEO of your website. Insufficient use of heading tags (h1, h2, h3) can do serious damage to your SEO Rankings. Basically your designer needs to know where to use h1 tags and what not. Just a little overview if you want to check your site. You should not use the h1 tag more than once in the site. h2 tags are suppose to highlight important titles, categories etc. h3 tags are subtitles etc. Don’t abuse h2 tags and keep them minimum as well. Another big think with SEO is the structure of the design whether the content comes first or not. More about this issue in this post. Once this step is fulfilled you need to look at your options in advertising methods. I have shared multiple ones on this blog which you can look up.

Next Question is “Whether I should hire a professional, or do the SEO myself?”

There is a pro and con side to both. You have to evaluate your options because I can’t make the decision without knowing the criterias.

By Hiring a professional, you are trusting them to do everything for you. Professionals have been in the industry for a long time, and these peope know what they are doing. Examples of few are Aaron Wall, Bigmouthmedia etc. You are more than likely to get good results with the two I mentioned. Also It saves you plenty of time. The negative side of this issue is that these companies are crazy expensive. Sometimes one just can’t afford it. Another bad side of it is that you don’t learn anything, so for the future you will always be dependant on these people. You will always have to spend money to get your website’s SEO done.

By doing it yourself, You save alot of money. You gain experience and knowledge so in the future you will have a clue what you are doing. Though you will be spending alot of time learning the methods and tricks. You will also be risking your site everytime when you try something new.

Last Question for Today “When Should you stop?”

You should never stop. Always trying to optimize your website for more keywords. Keep your rankings high for other keywords that you ranked from in the beginning. Keep promoting your business and that will be a step toward success.

Guys feel free to post your answers to the questions posed in this post as well as if you have questions feel free to write in this post or contact me, so I can address them in later posts.

Rightly said. You don’t learn anything by paying for SEO. I like to keep changing themes every few days. With every new theme, is is not possible to pay to SEO. But until now I would never bother to look at the H1, H2, H3 tags of my blog. Now on I’ll be more careful.

changing themes every few days is not a good idea. Because your blog won’t have an identity that way.

Since im a beginner i would let a professional do it, bevause like you said they know what they’e doing, and if you have the money you can do it and if not then you can’t.
