15 Sites Which Will Make You a Mind Blowing Designer
This past sunday, I wrote a post about 25 Sure-Fire Ways to become a better Designer, and in that post I mentioned as step 25 you need to stay updated. Stay updated with the news, inspirational sites, and new technology.
Well in this post, I will share with you guys 15 very good websites for designers. These websites I check almost every other day if not daily. I can guarantee you would learn alot of skills from these sites, and they will make you a mind blowing designer because of the tips and trick you will learn. There are alot of other websites that you can stay updated with, but these are the ones that I currently stay updated with and use often. In the past I have made a list of 24 Design Magazines that you should read. Which you can also use as a resource.
Hey, I am Syed Balkhi, The guy who is behind Balkhis Inc. I entered the industry back in 2002 not knowing a single thing. I barely spoke English at that time. In the past six years, my language barrier has been eliminated. Aside from English, now I also speak html, and php. Along with the languages I have also managed to master a few arts. I’m a Smashing addict, they consistently post great tutorials and helpful tips that make a huge difference to any designer. I spent a couple of years teaching design at a local college and can’t tell you how difficult it was to explain to students that online tutorials and idea sites like these are what make a good designer a great designer. Great post – with great websites. I use many of these sites on a regular basis, and am always inspired by the creative genius that surrounds us.
I know what deiviantART is, but I never really used it. Don’t know why, I just never really got there. I might start using it, as I am getting more active in web design again. Thanks for the recommendation.
So do these sites do everything, design and create the site, or are they more of a helper and design example thing?
They are more of a help sites for designers. These are to show you cool tricks whereas some are pure inspirational.
Some of these sites were already in my G Reader, but some of them are new for me and I will check them out, I really like Best Web Gallery.
