Excellent tips indeed. I am sure using browsershots as help tool is very time consuming, but if you have Windows, take a note that there are standalone versions of Internet Explorer, so that you can run them simultaneously.

I myself actually do design sites and most of my time goes exactly to the browser compatibility. I think it is the hardest part of the whole designing process. I only do it for opera,firefox,chrome and IE though

i found many sites, saying that please dont use IE to browse our site. I think thats a very bad thing to any websites. because the visitor have the power to use any browser he wants.

This is a coincidence in one of my classes (webpage design) we have been talking about how some things have problems in certain browsers. I have never really had that much problems with my browser but I guess there are some problems out there, but most of them are pretty minor.
