Thats why maybe I never found out that they need to be closed. Thanks for the post. Now my site is almost valid. By almost valid I mean just 63 errors! LOL They are due to the & thing provided by the market leverage referral code and the youtube vids(I have many of em). The rest is valid.

Excellent post Syed. My site has almost 73 errors! Most of em are incomplete img tags. I should get down to removing em!

Didn’t know and were incomplete! When I was taught the very few basics in col, they told me img and br didn’t need end tags!

The Web sites must be always validated against W3C standards regardless of the SEO effect, because such sort of programming style indicates about professionalism of the Web design company and capabilities of the team in particular. The output generated will look better in all browsers anyway and this will benefit the end users as well.
