Top 50 Best Looking Blog Designs of 2008
As the year of 2008 is coming to an end. I set this post goal in my mind. That I want to feature top 50 best looking blog designs of 2008. I needed a lot of help in doing this, so I contacted a lot of few people. I reached out to you guys through the recommendation post. I also searched through Top CSS Galleries which I will list below:

The designs are created by some amazing designers. If you want good looking designs, consider choosing any of the designer from the sites that I listed below, and go with them. I am designer myself, so if you need SEO Friendly designs, I am available starting February 2009.
Now I know that a lot of you guys started to nominate your own blogs, and I did approve some but a lot of them were rejected. I do not have time to personally email each individual to tell them why their blog was not worthy. Therefore the criteria’s are below:
- Creativity
- Clean Designs
- User Friendly
- Layout Structure
- Organization
Note: Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Having that said, I think that there are a lot of blogs out there that are worthy. I might have not looked at them, or in my eyes they weren’t good enough. This list is in no such order, so the first design does not mean that it is the best one. I am sorry for the all the great designs that are out there in the web that I probably didn’t even reach to. But if you think you have a great design, please submit to the galleries that I have mentioned above.

These designs are the ones that I came across this year, and I liked them. These did not have to be created this year. I hope to create this same list at the end of 2009. So here you have an inspiration list. Start working on your new blog design.
Hey, I am Syed Balkhi, The guy who is behind Balkhis Inc. I entered the industry back in 2002 not knowing a single thing. I barely spoke English at that time. In the past six years, my language barrier has been eliminated. Aside from English, now I also speak html, and php. Along with the languages I have also managed to master a few arts. Art of web-designing started when I first entered. Messing around with photoshop, I learned how to create my first web design. Now I founded a web designing firm Uzzz Productions. After running numerous amount of websites in various niche, I have mastered the art of web-development. Now I am compiling a resource of what I already know, and what I am learning on this blog. This resource is to help me if I ever need a guide to look back to, and it is help my fellow webmasters.
None can be faulted. Each deserves to be on the list.

Great collection, i like them all.
The list is quite great. You can always argue that some good blogs might have been missed out. But, just imagine t6he number of blogs on the web. I mean if the blog is great enough it is surely gonna make it to some list of this kind, if not here, then may be somewhere else. Great things cannot be hidden for too long…

Great visuals are good in any business whether it is a brick and mortar or online people like what looks good and are drawn towards it like moths to a flame. Well not exactly but it is what the designer is hoping for.

These are very nice sites, I mean you have a way of showing creativity and uniqueness and that is what really makes or breaks a website.
Even though some colors may be abstract it makes the visitor remember you, and in order to succeed the clients or visitor has to remember you and has to believe that you are different than all the other sites they have seen that same day on the same niche.
Great list, got some great new ideas.
