Useful fonts to design a nice and clean logo
Making Design usually is not hard, but making nice design is a task that not everyone can do. One of the most important features of a nice designs is a cool logo. For a cool logo, you need a cool font. Well in this post, I will share some of the useful fonts to create logos. These fonts are the ones that I tend to see myself using alot. But before I present to you my list, I would like to explain what I consider a decent logo.
My definition of a Decent Logo is:
- One that blends in with the theme, yet is astonishing.
- Readable, and Clean
- Creative and Good Looking
Well to fit in the guidelines, I can suggest you some of the fonts that I use alot to make logos that looks good. I have downloaded these fonts over a long period of time. This is a good source for web designers specially the new ones who are entering the industry. The list is not in any specific order, so don’t think the first one is the best one.

Cicle – 7 Font Files – Freeware

Existence – 3 Font Files – Freeware

Diavlo – This is the font that I use for Balkhis Logo.

Delicious – Another cool font.

Fontin-Sans – Last one in my cool listing.
These fonts are the ones that I use in almost all of my posts other than some premium ones which I downloaded for free in their promotional moments. The ones above described are freeware which means free for both personal and commerical use. These were mostly found from Smashing Magazine Posts.

Hey, I am Syed Balkhi, The guy who is behind Balkhis Inc. I entered the industry back in 2002 not knowing a single thing. I barely spoke English at that time. In the past six years, my language barrier has been eliminated. Aside from English, now I also speak html, and php. Along with the languages I have also managed to master a few arts. Art of web-designing started when I first entered. Messing around with photoshop, I learned how to create my first web design. Now I founded a web designing firm Uzzz Productions. After running numerous amount of websites in various niche, I have mastered the art of web-development. Now I am compiling a resource of what I already know, and what I am learning on this blog. This resource is to help me if I ever need a guide to look back to, and it is help my fellow webmasters.

Thanks for these fonts. I really like Fontin Sans so I am going to give it a shot.
yes it is a good font. I like Cicle
When I opened one of the first PostScript service bureaus over 25 years ago, I spent around $50K on fonts. It never ceased to amaze me that customers could still ask for one that I didn’t have. A lot has changed since then.
There are still some that I have that has turned paid. I downloaded them during their promotional times now each font style like bold, italic and other cost 26$ for that font.
So I can see how you would have spent 50k… it is still a hifty sum.
The existence looks good.
Thanks.
