Balkhis ML Contest Last Update and some Reminders
Alright Balkhis Users, as you all know that today is the last day for Balkhis ML Contest and it has been going great. Specially the comment war among the 3 top commentator.
This contest has been very good for Balkhis. Traffic was really high this past week and the readers increased by alot. What I want to do in this post is remind all my users some of the basic rules and remind them of the prizes.

Remember YOU MUST have activated your subscription. Otherwise you will not be entered in the drawing. To subscribe simply fill out the form below.
After that be sure to check that email and click on the activation link sent to you in the email. That will also get you 10 points toward the actual contest. If you are already a subscriber you will get the 10 points regardless.

You can always write about this contest. It is still not too late, and link to the official contest post and link to Market Leverage in that post and you will get 20 points.

Hey, I am Syed Balkhi, The guy who is behind Balkhis Inc. I entered the industry back in 2002 not knowing a single thing. I barely spoke English at that time. In the past six years, my language barrier has been eliminated. Aside from English, now I also speak html, and php. Along with the languages I have also managed to master a few arts. Art of web-designing started when I first entered. Messing around with photoshop, I learned how to create my first web design. Now I founded a web designing firm Uzzz Productions. After running numerous amount of websites in various niche, I have mastered the art of web-development. Now I am compiling a resource of what I already know, and what I am learning on this blog. I’ve loved being a part of this comment war! But it is disappointing that others have given up. I would really love to win something here. I am very bad at lucky draws. So when I finally saw a contest that was not lucky draw based I thought I had a chance. I thought I had a chance coz until last month, the top commentor had made about 45 comments and now we have reached almost 150 in just a week!
Apart from the prize, I didn’t mind commenting because I got to read a lot of very good older posts which I would have never read otherwise. But I’m true to myself in saying that I have not spammed at all. Most of my comments are quality comments. Hope you think alike Syed.
But I’ve got a very impt exam tomm and I need to concentrate on that. So I leave the rest to my fate.
PS: If you are counting our votes manually, you must have gone bonkers by now!
Just a comment on the “comment war” I am glad you had fun with it. I feel like a casualty of the “comment war”.
I have been getting bombarded by emails today letting me know of the new comments on the older threads you all found and added to.
It was probably not so fun for those of us that have been around a while.
Yes I know that I could have unsubscribed but then next month when we are still here and comments are made I would not get updated.
Oh well it was just a day that filled my mail box with c$%p and I can put up with that for Syed.

Thank you Bruce for understanding it. These guys are commenting and I haven’t seen any spam except for some 2 – 3 word comments which will be filtered out when I am tallying up the points tonight with my group.

Hey Syed, its definitely okay because of the high volume of comments it is understandable. I really liked your posts as well and I am inspired after reading your posts too. I want to apologize to Bruce for the high volume of comments also. This contest was a good way for us of discovering Syed and catching up with the past couple months of posts. Syed – I actually read a lot of your posts and now Im making changes to my blog as a result. Great contest, great posts and so it made it easier for us commentators.

As i have been in this war and have been injured couple of times, its been really fun enkay and angad. And special thanks to you syed for hosting this contest.

It was great commenting along with you guys. I actually ran out of posts to comment on. I have to say that the drastic increase in comments was mainly because while its night time in Mumbai, its day time here so thats why.
