Ha, Mac is Hacked
No, this is not an April fool story. If you guys don’t know, I am not a big fan of Mac. I guess, I am a proud supporter of Microsoft since Day 1. You can call it my lazyness or I am just a normal human being who doesn’t like change. Make the long story short, I don’t like Mac. Alot of people tell me that Mac is so much better because it is very safe and bunch of safety nonsense. Alot of people think their Mac is untouchable.
Well, think again. Mac book air was hacked within 2 minutes by Charlie Miller at a CanSecWest security conference’s PWN 2 OWN hacking contest. Miller is one of the first person who hacked the Apple Iphone as well last year. He won $10,000 and a Mac book air.
I found this story a bit late as it was posted on March 27th on Yahoo Tech. I guess I have to check that section more often.
Now while I respect everyone’s opinoin about Mac, this is for all the people who thought I should switch to Mac. Pwned !

There was a point I was going to check into macs and was advised against going mac by some friends with backgrounds to know better than I. So I am sticking with pc’s
hehe smart guy. I am with PCs also. I can’t stand the daily updates with MAC… Leave your Mac out for 6 months and then turn it back on… You got some upgrading to do…
But syed, you wont talk this much against mac if you get it and start using it.
Really mac is super cool, although no one can guarantee their security.. no one.

I don’t own one but I have worked in the library that did have Mac … and the upgrade one issue I mentioned above … was a true story. A Mac computer was turned off for one year and it took 4 days to upgrade … for the 4 days, I couldn’t do anything on that Mac !!!
4 days to upgrade- that is crazy. On the other hand did you really need to do anything on it for those four days? After all it had been turned off for the year before that..
Umm NO, I didn’t have to do anything on it. My school’s media center wanted the computer running so they can make some movies and have “better features” with Mac.
I really took a shock on this one when i look at your sidebar, mention mac was hack… and i almost forgot that day was a April fool day … shame on myself.
I wouldn’t want own a mac myself but can’t stop my jaw from dropping with all the eye candy that the mac has!
I havent used mac all that much maybe a couple of times, but it seemed ok/ Sure it was confusing just like how vista was at first, but i got use to it.but maybe i havent gone threw it all the way yet, i’ll give it a try and will let you guys know.
Hey Vista wasen’t confusing at all. It was just a more glossy version of XP
I have to say that I am not a big fan of Mac and I like my Windows PC over anything but then again the iPhone tempts me quite a bit!
