How much is your site worth?
It all started when I searched Balkhis in google, and found one of these sites ranking at #10 saying Balkhis is worth some thousand dollars. So I started playing around today, and wondering how much is Balkhis worth, so I started looking into these automated calculators. I got a chuckle out of those. While I looked at the numbers, I thought it would be nice to share it here and ask you guys a question. So I have a question for you guys. How do you evaluate how much is your site worth? Well while you are thinking the answer to that enjoy some of the funny numbers the sites I found gave me.

According to Website Outlook Balkhis is worth $33,580
According to dnScoop Balkhis is worth $104,236
According to Cubestat Balkhis is worth $29,113.86
According to Smart PageRank Balkhis is worth $66,959
So now these numbers are pretty high specially the dnscoop one. Website outlook ranked in the top 10 for the keyword balkhis in google, so I will use them to get the results of some other cool sites that are my regular readers.

Those sites give unrealistic values. I really dunno how they calculate the value of a website. But it sures is not the right way…
So i beat you with a few hundred dollars :p
Btw we are still valued under 6k Syed, believe me. We are not that established that someone might buy us for $33000
Lol I know … this was just something that cracked me up ..
The calculation on these sites is just an approximate and should not be considered as accurate.
In the market, no buyer will acknowledge these stats if you present this while on a deal.
We should only take these stats into account to boost ourselves to work more harder and concentrate on our blogs.
Anyone wanna buy me out right now, before I dominate you all in 6 months? =p

I actually used one website value tool today that was more unrealistic than any of those tools – it said my blog was worth $40k

Nah, first dominate. If good enough, then you would still be bought.. in a higher price. Isn’t it?
These calculators crack me up. If you want to know how much your blog is worth you have to sell it. It is only worth as much as someone will pay for it.

Those calculators are entertaining and I will occassionally pop by website outlook to check a domain for fun.
btw you have a bad link in your post to AD….
Is there a scale for the calculations? You can always use it as a reference if you try to sell your blog.
All these calculators use different algorithm. I believe some use alexa heavily whereas other use yahoo backlinks heavily…
These are tools that give you a good laugh when you are exhausted.
It says your site is almost worth as much as ShoeMoney “$119,416″ Congrats!

Thanks for the link back. Those are some high stats although I’m sure that the value for my blog would probably be the number you see, divided by 10 times 2. So around $5,000 if I’m lucky but im saying its in the 3k to 5k range. Just depends how you look at it.
